Huub Meessen presented QCP at the opening seminar of the French-Dutch Economic Year. The event took place July 3, 2015 in the Beatrix Theater, in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

The seminar “Partnering up for industrial growth” was the kick off event of the The French-Dutch Economic Year that runs from July 2015 until June 2016. Subject is the implementation of the Investment Plan for Europe in the context of the French-Dutch bilateral cooperation. Participants were mainly French and Dutch companies, research institutes, industrial clusters and representatives of administration.

QCP’s presentation was part of the afternoon session “Building new business models for circular economy ? Which opportunities through European funding ?” The presentation elaborated on how building a polymer recycling plant can become a venue for new, innovative products based on used plastics.

In the coming years circular business models will be much more competitive than linear models “extract – produce – throw away.” Accelerating their implementation would ensure significant macroeconomic impact and create growth opportunities for companies.
